So far it's a short story, Music Invest was set up in May 2001, by Rick.E.Nelson(An award winning Singer/songwriter).

Music Invest was designed for artists on the NET to find investors for their act, and also make it obvious to the WORLD and to Music Publishers and Record companies, that these artists are seriously looking for a DEAL.

Too many times great Talent gets overlooked, so now at Music Invest artists can advertise themselves as looking for an INVESTOR or INVESTORS, not just a recording or publishing deal.

Talented Artists are always committed to producing a high quality product, it's just that lack of funds usually mean their product becomes unviable, or in music industry terms, not commercial.



1.They cant afford the recording cost(a proper recording)
2.They then dont get a Major record deal(because of the recording)
3.They dont get distribution(because of the recording)
4.They dont get enough airplay(the recording again)
5.They really are terrible(maybe it's because of the recording)

Okay right now your saying, "Oh! come on, if an artist really has Talent a Major Record company will sign them"

No they wont, because they usually have a back log of artists, they only sign a few each year(if they even do that), and they want to make as much money out of every artists as they can. That's fair enough, but most of the time they just ignore Talent.

So a Major Record Company wont sign an artist that might only have a potential sale of 100,000 CD's for the year, as an INVESTOR in an Independent artist however, this can be very profitable.




As an INVESTOR in an artist at Music Invest you make all the choices:

1. You decide the MUSIC and ARTIST you'd like to invest in
2. If you dont like their MUSIC, dont invest (use instinct!)
3. If the ARTIST doesn't provide an OFFER, you make an OFFER
4. Go to their website, send an email, and TALK(discuss possibilities)
